    Answered by the admin Hi Rich, thank you for asking. Yes, the camera cable is made by Cat5e cord. But the camera unit just uses four wires inside of the Cat5e cable, if you want to replace it please make sure each wire has color matching. You can patch the controller(host unit) with the wall plate if the controller is connected to router via Ethernet cable, otherwise the wall plate may impact and weak the wifi signal. Hope that helps.

The camera TT525PW runs with 25FPS or 30FPS, it can smoothly capture computer screen, the computer screen in the camera will show as you directly see the computer screen, but if the computer displayer belongs to analogue displayer, the computer screen saw in the video may have water ripple. LCD displayer will have no this problem.

    Answered by the admin Hi K Ryker, thank you for your question. The whole camera is consisted of two parts, one is the lens part, and other one is the host part, there is a 20 feet cable connected between thel ens part and host part(You can see the Picture 2 in the product images). Without the host unit, the camera won't work, the lens part could not directly connect to an NVR. But for the whole camera, it does support ONVIF 2.2 or early version so that it can work with NVR which supports standard ONVIF protocol.
